ContractCraft Solutions Privacy Notice

Who we are
ContractCraft Solutions is a fractional contracts specialist service based in Edmonton, Alberta. Our privacy contact is our Privacy Officer, reachable at [email protected].
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number
- Business details: business name, province, stage and how you heard about us
- Deal details: your answers on our intake form and any documents you upload or send us
- Communications: emails, messages, and call recordings or transcripts, only with your permission
- Payment details: we accept payment by Interac e-Transfer, so we receive the sender’s name, email and transfer details from the bank. We don’t collect card numbers
- Website usage: anonymous visit statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- to deliver the services in your engagement letter
- to invoice you and keep business and tax records
- to improve our services
- to send you marketing emails, but only if you’ve agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We collect only what we need for these purposes.
Your consent
By submitting our intake form, you consent to us collecting and using your information as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. If you do, we may not be able to continue providing our services, and we may still need to keep some records for legal or tax reasons.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Storage outside Canada
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States or the European Union. That information may be accessible to authorities there under local law. Contact us with any questions about how your information is handled outside Canada.
How long we keep it
- Client files, decision logs and communications: 1 year after the engagement ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we have no legal reason to keep them
- Invoices and financial records: 6 years, as Canadian tax rules require
- Enquiries that don’t become engagements: 12 months
How we protect it
Only the ContractCraft team (Ryan and Amanda) can access client information. Our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and we use reputable providers that encrypt stored data.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email [email protected]. We’ll respond within 45 days, as PIPA requires.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
